Adam Corsini
Adam has worked at LAARC for over five years and before being seconded to this project was responsible for the archive's registered / accessioned objects. His background is in Classical Archaeology, in particular the Roman period. After graduating, he worked as field archaeologist on sites within London as well as supervising training excavations in Rome. In 2004, having previously volunteered at LAARC, he joined the LAARC team and has since engaged in educational outreach sessions, in house open days, external open days as well as day to day duties such as managing the volunteer program and improving the storage and condition of the collections.
He is one of two archaeological collections officers for this project and is looking forward to seeing how this program's team will progress, hoping participants will finish their 13 weeks with not only an understanding of archaeological practices and archiving processes, but new friends and having had lots of fun along the way.
