Hi, I'm one of two archaeological collections officer and my role within the archive involves sourcing and managing volunteers as part of the Volunteer Inclusion Programme (VIP) funded by the Museum Hub. Having identified a number of projects, the first of our volunteer programmes kicked-off last September - December and the second ran from January - March this year. My aim is to continue updating the Archive’s general finds from 1974, having now worked through all of the sites from 1973 during the last two programmes . We're now ready to start programme three which will continue to pave the way to providing greater access to material which in some cases hasn’t seen light for 30 years, whilst generating much needed space for London’s infinite archaeology! I'm looking forward to the new discoveries to be found over the next 13 weeks.
